Dave Aftandilian Tranquil, green-shadowed DS / dark ambient. From the solitude of my forest laboratory, I decode the secrets of the universe. Woodland rambles reveal runes of power written in tree-bark, and shrieking gales that burn my skin answer the riddle of transmuting ice to fire. Here I find peace and promise, inspiration and ecstasy, my beard growing longer than the Spanish moss bedecking the branches. At night the constellations map paths to knowledge hidden behind the sky.

Sort of an extension of "Ruminations Of A Hermit" with this being more of a forest-themed album with the first two concerning the beauty, solitude, and surroundings of a lifelong alchemist, with the final track concerning the four stages to reaching the alchemical, "magnum opus".
